Prediction,

I think Andre Ward will benefit from increasing the frequency of his assignments this year, and Alexander Brand isn't a bad opponent. I think in terms of adjusting to the light heavyweight division, this isn't the best of match ups, because Brand isn't a big light heavyweight himself, but it's definitely better than nothing. I think although Ward put up a good performance against Sullivan Barrera, he showed signs of struggling to adapt to the 175 lb division, and the size of Barrera made him very uncomfortable at times in that fight, so I think he's wise to fight another light heavyweight before going anywhere near Sergey Kovalev, a fight in which he cannot afford rusty rounds. I think Alexander Brand is good enough to make out classing him impressive, I think he's of a similar level of ability to Paul Smith, so it'll be very impressive if Ward shall be to do a better job in this fight than he did in that one.

I can see Ward doing everything right in this fight, and winning every round comfortably before getting an impressive stoppage around the halfway point of the fight.

Looks like a stay busy fight for Ward. Not a challenge, just business.

Alexander Brand looks like he rarely fights outside Colombia.

Will watch just to check how Ward is doing nowadays
