Bernard Hopkins vs. Simon Brown
Fight Notes: More than a year after they had originally been talking about a fight with each other, IBF Middleweight Champion makes easy work of undersized Simon Brown. Hopkins puts on a clinic with accurate punching and finally floors Brown with a leaping uppercut through the gloves in the sixth round. Brown beats the count but is out on his feet, and Hopkins pounds him into the ropes until Referee Rudy Battle stops the fight. Afterward, Hopkins leans through the ropes to call out Roy Jones Jr. at ringside about a potential rematch. |

Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Simon Brown
Hopkins was a animal when he was still trying to make his name.
