This fight was a disgrace

Penalosa was getting whooped and lost every round...he got cut by an accidental headbutt and they stopped the fight after 6 rounds. The referee announced that the fight was going to the scorecards...yes I'm serious, the ref did lol. Then the officials found out the hometown fighter was down on the scorecards and they let the fight continue so he can win.
Flores team was frustrated and complained they didn't want to continue since the fight was stopped.
But eventually everyone got out of the ring and they fought on.
Flores won the next round convincingly anyway. He now won about every round. The commentators were very amazed at how badly organized the whole thing was.
Anyway...they went to the scorecards and still almost robbed Flores. One judge scored the fight for Penalosa which is one of the most ridiculous scorecards I have ever seen. Clear corruption. The other judges had it a one point fight and 2 point difference. Also way too close.
But luckily it wasn't enough to rob Flores. He won by SD when he won about every round. It was embarrassing. If Penalosa actually won 1 clear round he would have won a SD...it is just unbelievable how corrupt the sport is sometimes.
