Prediction,

Korobov raised his stock against Charlo, he didn't win, but he seemed to get too little credit on the cards, he boxed very well. Korobov was ahead against Lee, he beat Uzcategui, was a very good amateur. Korobov is 36, he is past his best, he comes off a draw, albeit a controversial draw, and he had a bad last round against Charlo, was hurt, he can't repeat his performance from the Charlo fight, but I don't think he's shot, hopefully he has at least one fight left.

I think Eubank has improved since he lost to Groves, he beat a probably shot DeGale, but he fought a more strategic fight than he did against Groves or Saunders. Eubank has a phenomenal output, he has a solid chin, and I think he is a talented fighter, I think his dad wasn't bringing the best out of him, he wasn't improving much between the Saunders and Groves fights because he didn't have the right mentality, but he learned from the Groves defeat, and it was a great performance against DeGale.

Although he has improved, I don't think Eubank will ever be a great, complete boxer, not because the talent isn't there, but because for too long, he didn't have the desire to learn. Eubank will never be a great technical fighter, he'll never have the best fundamentals, and I think is Korobov definitely has the better overall boxing ability, he has the amateur pedigree, and he still out boxed Charlo and Lee for a good few rounds even of he didn't win those fights.

I think Korobov has the skill to out box Eubank, and he's good enough to beat him, but I think he is too old, he hasn't been active overall since he lost to Lee, he didn't impress against Aleem even if he deserved to win, he is declining, and this is at 160, that will work in Eubank's favour as long as he can make the weight and rehydrate. Korobov is a southpaw, but that won't be a problem for Eubank, because his last 2 opponents have been southpaw.

Eubank comes off 9-10 months out, there might be some ring rust, and if his timing is off, Korobov has to take advantage of that, let the shots go in the first 2 rounds, take the momentum. Korobov needs lateral movement, Eubank doesn't deal well with a mobile opponent, but against DeGale, Eubank stepped back, let DeGale attack, and countered as DeGale got into range, which was the improvement we saw from him, so Korobov can't take that bait, he has to be the counter puncher, pivot, not stand and fight Eubank.

I think Eubank will struggle technically against Korobov more than he did against DeGale, I think Korobov is a more compact boxer than DeGale, and in terms of sheer skill, there isn't much to take advantage of, because he doesn't make mistakes, he is well schooled, has a solid skilset. I think Korobov will tire, and I don't think he can hurt Eubank, so when his legs have slowed down, and his movement decreases, he won't be able to discourage Eubank from attacking, and I think Eubank definitely has the power to hurt him, is stronger, so Korobov's best chance to win is to box, not let Eubank make it a fight.

I think Eubank will force a fast pace, Korobov will be forced to work hard, will hit Eubank on the counter as he rushes in, move off to the side, and he might win the early rounds by landing the scoring punches, but he will tire, and when his movement has slowed down, is when Eubank can get into range more easily, and if Eubank can keep the fight on the inside or even mid range, it's his fight. I think Eubank stops Korobov in 8.
