Junior Jones pulls a shocking upset over WBO Super Bantamweight Champion Marco Antonio Barrera on the undercard of the fight between Roy Jones Jr. and Mike McCallum. After four give-and-take rounds, Jones floors Barrera in the fifth. Barrera beats the count but gets hammered into the ropes, prompting his corner to rush into the ring a bit before the bell. Barrera collapses as Jones celebrates, but no ruling is made for several minutes until Referee Max Parker Jr. finally disqualifies Barrera due to his corner coming into the ring.
