I'm checking other sources' cards....and surprinsingly they are giving Jacobs too many rounds...It's true he pushed GGG back from time to time...but he barely landed something with authority. GGG didn't overwhelm Jacobs with punches and even missed, but he when he landed he clearly landed quality....

The last 15 round fight was Buddy McGirt vs Howard Davis Jr and Davis Jr got Knocked out in the first round. They got rid of 15 round fights because its easier to corrupt a 12 round fight. 15 rounds leaves no doubts.

The ancestors set 15 rounds for a reason its a odd number you need a odd number in close fights and we still have close fights today and its always gonna be close fights so we as Fight fans where do we go but Controversy.

The ancestors scheduled 20, 20+ and unlimited rounds prior to that. I do agree though I wish it was an odd number even if 13 for championship fights.

Fight could've gone either way. Surprised it wasn't a split decision. IMO GGG barely escapes with his title. Hopefully after this performance Canelo will want to fight GGG now.

Another thing I fine interesting is the amount of people who favor the guy on the backfoot vs our Boxing ancestors who taught me and the best living Boxing minds gives those swing rounds to the aggressor looking for damage ie GGG.Unless the guy on the backfoot backs up the guy on the front foot or scores a Knockdown going backwards.

FTR I decided not to judge this fight as my love affection for Golovking would shade my schorecard, but I do think he truly won this fight. I mean. it's simple. 4 pillars. golovking landed more and was more accurate too boot. With the British boxing gods, sometimes they are spot on but sometimes they are ass backwards, or perhaps they make up there own way of scoring fights and not the general way that the rules apply to all boxing fights.............

i was happy with the fight, however i did have jacobs winning. i thought that the fight could have gone either way, but i was more impressed with jacobs style to beat golovkin, he came forward at times and landed more power punches that had a thud. i was more impressed with this performance by jacobs than by canelo (the first time), Derevyanchenko, and brook. i was suprised that this was not recognized as a fight of the year canadit. great fight, had jacobs winning, but can go either way from 115-112 to either dude, but i see it more towards jacobs here......,.
