Fight Notes: In a battle between undefeated champions, WBC and IBF Welterweight Champion Felix Trinidad moves up in weight to take on WBA Super Welterweight Champion David Reid. Trinidad goes down in the third round but climbs off the canvas to hit Reid low, eventually losing two points for it. Trinidad scores a knockdown of his own in round seven and brutally hammers Reid to the canvas three more times in round eleven. Though Reid refuses to stay down, Trinidad wins the bout on a unanimous decision. |

Trinidad's dirtiness is the only reason he stayed in this fight. He would've been knocked out if he was a fair fighter. Same thing to get through the Vargas fight.
