Prediction,

Both fighters are southpaws, but both switch hitters. I think both have good preparation for fighting another southpaw, Galahad went 12 rounds against Clary in 2018, and Marrero went 12 rounds against Eduardo Ramirez last year.

I don't think there should be any complaints about this being an eliminator. Galahad proved himself at world level against Warrington, he lost, but it was close, and I think he gets more credibility from that than any of his wins. Marrero lost Nyambayar last year, but it was a competitive fight, wasn't one sided, and Nyambayar earned his shot at Russell with that win. Warrington is more experienced than Nyambayar, is a champion, and Warrington vs Galahad was the closer fight, but Marrero comes off the win over Ramirez, so he isn't undeserving of the eliminator.

Marrero might have more momentum, coming off the win, but I think Galahad is the better fighter, the Warrington fight backs that up, that's his only loss, Marrero lost to Cuellar, was knocked out against Rojas. I think Galahad should win this, get the Warrington rematch.

I think Galahad and Marrero are similar, style wise, have fairly similar styles to a traditional Cuban. Both are defensively good, have good movement, are slick. I think Marrero has the slightly higher output than Galahad, and he has better variety. I think Galahad's defence is slightly better than Marrero's, his left uppercut is a great shot, he is more selective, is the better counter puncher, and although neither are good inside fighters, Galahad is better at stopping his opponent working on the inside at close range.

I think Marrero has to take more chances than Galahad, he has to throw combinations, not try to counter Galahad or try to beat him with single shots, because that's Galahad's fight. I think if Marrero has the right game plan, he will give Galahad problems, but I still think Galahad's defence and counter punching will still be too much, Marrero has to wary of the left uppercut.

I think this will be a competitive fight, might be close, but I think Galahad wins a UD.
