Re: Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley
Prediction,
I think this will be a tremendous fight, I think it will excite the fans, I think it will be extremely close, and I think an upset will occur. I think Manny Pacquiao was disapointed after losing to Floyd Mayweather Jr, he was made to look very ordinary in a fight he was very confident of winning, and he is determined to finish his ongoing career on a good note, he will be expected to win this fight, I can see him being in great shape, I can see him being injury free, and I can see him being more ready than he has ever been in his life. Tim Bradley is the definition of a true champion, he is the kind of boxer who is a natural athlete, a warrior, a gentleman, and a great all round fighter, I think he is going to win this fight. Tim Bradley has had issues in the ring in the past, I think the problem was the way he went all out in the early rounds when there was no need to in past fights, against Kendall Holt in particular, he showed such great skills, and with his high stamina, he set and kept up a phenomenal pace for 12 rounds, but he had no respect for the power of his opponent, and this caused him to walk onto big punches, and therefore, fights of his were closer than he could have made them, Bradley is not known for his punching power, but I think that is because he never used to sit down on his shots when going for the finish, or even when trying to discourage his opponent, he has a tenancy to throw too many punches at times, but I think he has learned so much from Teddy Atlas, I think his relationship with Atlas is great, he respects him, he always listens, they get along great, Atlas is very, very knowledgeable when it comes to the sport of boxing, and I think he has found a way to keep the old Bradley that Joel Diaz trained (with the 12 round engine, speed, accuracy, movement), but he has created a composed, smart, sensible, mature, seasoned version of Tim Bradley, I think Bradley has Pacquiao's number this time.
I think tactically, neither fighter will make any mistake, why? Because they know each other well, I certainly don't think Bradley will go in their trying to what Juan Manuel Marquez did to Pacquaio in their fourth fight, it is a bad idea to go looking for a one punch knock out without setting it up the right way, and the right way, is not the same way the knockout of your opponent was set up in the fight that gives you your confidence of the KO happening this time, I also don't think Bradley will try to replicate the beautiful performance from Mayweather, I think he will be Bradley in that ring, just Bradley, nobody else. I think the biggest difference in Bradley is his mentality, he has always moved laterally very well, but he used to do this just to force the pace, he would always be the first to work, but I believe against Pacquiao, he will move around the ring for a different reason, I think he will circle around Pacquiao, not to force the pace himself, but to force Manny to do this, and when Manny let's his hands go, Bradley catches him on the counter, landing his hard, fast, crisp jab on the way in, I believe he will move right out of any exchange after landing one or two punches, he wouldn't be wise to stand and trade with Pacquiao, and many people think Pacquiao is good enough to limit Bradley down to having no choice, but I don't agree, and I think he can keep out of this trap. Pacquiao will have an even better idea of how to beat Bradley than he did in their second fight, and I believe this will show, I think his success will start early, I think he will force the pace, and make Bradley work 3 minutes per round, I think Manny has to accept that he has to take punches if he is to land them, and with his pressure, I believe he can out fight Bradley at times in this fight, however, although he will surely have his sights set on a knock out, I don't think Tim is going anywhere until the final bell, I believe Manny is the puncher in this fight, and in even exchanges (in terms of counts), the judges will prefer his work because of his advantage in punching power, and rightly so, I think Bradley has to beat him to the punch, and he has to use his feet in order to avoid the offence of Pacquiao, rather than trying to out punch his opponent in a lively exchange.
I think this fight will end in a split decision, and Tim Bradley will get the win 115-113, 112-116, and 115-113. I can see Pacquiao saying he thought he won the fight, and he is disappointed about the verdict, but I don't think he will be unsportsmanlike towards Bradley, I wonder what kind of doors this fight will open for Tim Bradley if I'm right and he does defeat Manny Pacquiao, this is the biggest fight of his career, and the opportunity of a lifetime.

Re: Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley
For Bradley to really "win" this fight he must obliterate and knockout Manny Pacquiao.

Re: Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley
He probably won't be as dependant on a knockout as he was last time, I think he will use his jab, catch Manny coming in, he will probably aim to negate the successful flurries of Pacquiao, he might try what Mayweather did, although I think it could work, I doubt it could work to the same extent, and I'm sure it will be a close fight, Manny will look back I 6 his best, but Tim is not one to be written off, he looked phenomenal against Brandon Rios.

Re: Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley
I know he wasn't in the shape of his life, but people are making far too much of a big deal about that, I don't mean you, but people are too critical of Rios and Bradley because they do not like to he impressed, Rios is the kind of fighter who is on fire in the mid rounds, and slows down in the later stages, but even when out of gas, Rios is a machine, he kills himself in the ring, so him being not in great shape, and a bit slower than when in shape, this doesn't mean schooling him isn't impressive, and to stop Brandon Rios, nobody can remain unimpressed after seeing that. Do you think Rios made the right choice by coming back?

Re: Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley
Sorry champ we have to disagree here. Schooling a man who was not in shape and was apparently completely weight drained isn't a good win for Bradley in my opinion. Watching the fight I knew something was wrong. Where was the aggression ? You could tell because Bradley landed a huge body shot and it was over. I didn't even know Rios was coming back. Maybe, maybe not. Undecided I am.

Re: Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley
No worries man, we don't have to agree, I'm not sure Rios was completely weight drained, but anyway, he was not in great shape, but I still feel it was a great victory for Bradley, and we will see this in his next fight, I suppose we will find out when Bradley fights Pacquiao, the aggression was there from Rios in the first few rounds, but most the time it was ineffective and he wasn't having enough success to match his opponent, and the quality was coming from Bradley, Bradley broke him down round by round, the aggressive attitude disappeared, he looked very slow, partly because of the weight issue, but mainly because Bradley made him look that way. Stopping Brandon Rios is golden, whether he is fully fit, or he has the flu, he fights with everything he has, he is great at absorbing brutal punishment, he is well known for eating potentially KO producing punches with a smile on his face, nobody has ever come close to stopping him before. We should also consider that there was nothing unimpressive in Bradley's performance, even if Rios was somehow not half the fighter he normally is, so nobody can be less impressed by Bradley than they were before the fight, he looked great against Chaves and Vargas as well, of anything changed after Bradley fought Rios, it had to be good.

Well. I think I was part right on saying Bradley has been overrated for a while. I mean it is amazing how he is ranked so high but he hasn't beat the best the division has right now. smh

Closer than what it looked like.
Pacquiao won. No doubt. But on a round by round fight, Bradley didn't do that bad. I actually thought I messed up something when I saw my own scorecard...but it was right. The knockdowns gave manny the victory, ...but otherwise it would have been a draw.

I agree, 116-110 doesn't do Bradley's performance justice although I think he started fighting the wrong fight.

Re: Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley III
I kind of feel sorry for Tim Bradley and here is the reason.
3 of his biggest fights have been against Manny.
If the judges were competent then Manny and Tim would of just fought one time.
I would of enjoyed watching Tim fight some other guys instead.
