Castano did 12 against Lara, stopped Vitu in 12, both are southpaws, so Teixeira's stance shouldn't be an issue. Both are good offensive fighters, I think Teixeira hits slightly harder, but Castano is more varied. I think Teixeira is the better inside fighter, but Castano is a better mid range fighter, he can cut the distance even with the shorter reach, but that doesn't take much from Teixeira's game plan. I think Castano is defensively better, he moves his head as he comes forward, Teixeira is an easy target for the right hand. I don't think Teixeira will keep the fight on the outside for long, he has a very big reach advantage, but he doesn't use it much, doesn't change direction much, and Castano is good at cutting off the ring.

I think Teixeira's reach advantage will be enough to delay Castano in the first 2 or 3 rounds, he will be busy with the jab, but Castano will slip it, and won't take long to cut off the ring, will time the right hand, will out jab Teixeira more as the fight goes on. I think Teixeira will do more damage on the inside, will lean on Castano, throw short, looping shots Castano isn't prepared for, but Castano will use his footwork, position his shots, create some distance. I think Castano will throw combinations at mid range, land the counter right more easily in the second half. I think Castano will finish stronger, Teixeira will struggle to force the fight on the inside, will take a lot out of himself by missing, will struggle to get respite by keeping Castano off with the jab, and Castano will walk him down.
