Prediction,

I think this a fight which would have been sorely wished for had it not been confirmed, it is very differential, and it makes all the sense in the world.

Andre Ward is a great champion, possibly the best fighter on the planet, one of the best out there, and is being denied the credit he deserves from the boxing public. I don't care if a million, 10 million, 100 million fans say Kovalev won their first fight, Paulie Malignaggi, and a few other top analysts have expressed the same opinion as me, Andre Ward bossed that fight back in November, he won it decisively, he came through adversity, after being dropped, and hurt in round 2, behind by three, having the fight really going against him, he regrouped, bit down on his gumshield, and dug deep, he won 7-8 of the last 10 rounds, and won the fight, 114-113, or 115-112, I had it 8-4, and I thought it was a bit of a master class from Ward.

I think a big part of the first fight which people miss, is the fact that Ward was able to rode Kovalev's punches, and take some of the force off them, so when they were landing a similar amount of punches, Ward was the one landing with leverage, and much more often than not, Ward was making Kovalev miss completely, and landing more as well, Ward's inside ability drained Kovalev down the stretch, people are fooled by his power, strength, and pressure. Ward out boxed Kovalev, in what was a phenominal, courageous, gutsy effort and an undeniable effort from him, to come back from a start like that, I don't blame the people who think Kovalev won, I do not have a problem with them, I do have a problem with the atrocious coverage from HBO, and I do have a problem with the idiots who give Ward abuse, unnecessary criticism, and declare him nowhere near as good as he is, questioning his heart, his bravery, I think when it gets to that stage, one can't take these fools seriously.

I think Andre Ward will make it 2-0, I think he is a special fighter, he has talent, and adaptability which I believe Kovalev doesn't have, and I believe he will be able to use this time in between fights wisely, more so than Kovalev, and I think Ward will win, maybe wide, I think he won't get dropped this time, and I think he'll make the legitimate case that he won by six points, I can see there being a vlid argument for it being a close fight, I think between 115-113 and 117-111.

I don't think thismwill be easy for Ward, far, far from it, I think this fight will be very competitive from start to finish, Kovalev should be a better fighter next time than he was the first time, he is a massive puncher, so good at using his advantages, good stamina, extremely strong, a very skilled boxer, a fantastic outside fighter, and a great all round boxer, but I don't think he can beat an on form Andre Ward.

Ward could well retire after this fight, he would have sealed his legacy, I would like to see have a few more fights, due to his layoff combined with the fact that's he still in the first half of his thirties, maybe even 4-5 more, and I would love to see him in a couple more big fights after this one, and maybe retire in 2019 or 2020, whether he does this, or retires after this fight, Andre Ward is a boxing legend, and one of the best in the world.

I can't wait to see what's going to happen in this second fight. In my opinion, I think Ward had numerous plans in the first fight, which is why he was able to adapt to the situation and see the fight to the finish after he got knocked down, I think in this second fight, Ward will dominate against Kovalev who seemed to only have one plan in the last fight, which was utilising his power, listening to the post fight (from the first fight) and the pre fight (from the second fight), Kovalev seems too emotionally invested in this fight, talking about how he is going to dominate ward, deep down inside I think he knows it isn't going to go down as easy as he thinks. I see Ward dominating this fight, however I won't be surprised if Kovalev does come out the victor. So excited for this.

IMO This time Kovalev will get the UD/MD, but i thought the same in the previous fight. Ward is such a great fighter, and I read he'll be with much more power this time. Also Kova will improve his resistance (I hope). Sorry for my english. Im spanish!

Well that's good in a sense, you can be happy for me if Ward dominates, I can be happy for you if Kovalev dominates.

You think Lomachenko beats Rigondeaux at 126?, that's a fight I think about and change my mind on.

Yes, I think Lomachenko bests Rigo at 126, I think Loma only has problems with Crawford and possibly Garcia from 126-140.

I hope he gets the right amount of credit, I had him winning, close, but I had him just clear, and as for the finish, some may have been borderline, but I think all bjt one of the last few, were clean. I agree with Paulie, but one thing I think we should take i to consideration, is that Kovalev had th fight beaten out of him mentally, he was leaning on the ropes, did he want to be there?, after the fight was stopped, he sat down, Ward has done it, he has knocked the bully out!

When will you realize Champion97 these guys not really watching the fight just filling out cards and they got bias issues we really need do something about bad score cards remove them from the site. Also correct if its not to the groin its not low Kovalev got a weak gut from all the vodka lol at least if you let Virgil Hunter Ward's trainer tell the tale of the fight he called something like what happened in one of the pre fight press conferences.
