Ruiz seemed to have a much more crowd pleasing style at light heavy. That said, Kobozev whooped some ass this fight. Kobozev truly is one of the most unfortunate stories in boxing. He used to work as a part-time bouncer at a jazz musician's night club in New Jersey and one night he roughed up and kicked out a hooligan who ended up having ties to the underworld. He came back with 3 goons and they brutally murdered Kobozev. It truly is unfortunate as he was training for a championship fight at cruiserweight and also was planning on proposing to his girlfriend at the time.

Dear god Ruiz had the fall in--lead with the head--huggy bear style even at Cruiserweight. Very close fight, I'm ok with a draw, but I thought Kobozev did enough in the 10th to earn it. Just HATE giving Ruiz rounds, but you have to. RIP, Kobozev.
