Yeah, okay I can totally see the Sven Ottke bullshit now. I'm just starting to watch Sven Ottke's fights/career and quite frankly hating myself for it. This fucker makes Winky Wright, Bernard Hopkins and John Ruiz seem like the most entertaining fighters in the world. No joke there either. But my only other prior fight I saw of this motherfucker was against Byron Mitchell and I honestly thought Ottke pulled that one off by a comfortable margin. But this one??? This one was a fucking robbery. Mads Mikkelsen (or whatever) did more than enough to win this shit.

I'm the rare American who actually appreciated Ottke's skills. He took his amateur style and made a pro career out of it. Excellent footwork, quick hands, amazing control of distance. He beat good fighters like Glen Johnson, Charles Brewer, and Byron Mitchell. If you like technically proficient boxing, particularly in an amateur framework, Ottke is one of the best to watch.

But, this fight wasn't close. Ottke's quick hands are gone, he is completely defensive without even the quick, brief flurries that won him those other fights. No way he won this.
