Prediction,

Big step up for Ortiz!

I'm a fan of the Garcia family as good fighters and good trainers, so I am always rooting for their fighters. Ortiz is a very good prospect, made a big statement in this last fight, that was supposed to be a step up, a learning fight, like this is supposed to be, Herrera had never been stopped, and Ortiz stopped him in 3, Herrera is shot, but it was still a big statement, great performance from Ortiz.

I think Orozco is underrated, is teak tough, can really fight, is a good inside fighter, has a good chin, can punch a bit. Orozco showed a lot of heart against Ramirez, he lost a landslide, got dropped twice, but it was a fairly competitive fight. Orozco is coming off a wide UD win over Jose Luis Rodriguez, that was in March, a 10 round fight, so he is active.

I think this will be a great learning fight for Ortiz, but much tougher than any of his previous fights, he is inexperienced, needs a challenge. I don't think Orozco is as good as Herrera was, but there is not a lot in it, and I think Orozco is only slightly past his prime, nowhere near shot, and he is a much tougher opponent than Herrera at this stage.

One advantage for Ortiz is that Ramirez is from his stable, and he beat Orozco.

It will be interesting to see how Orozco takes Ortiz's power early, Ramirez put him down twice and hurt him, but Ramirez can punch a bit, and Orozco took Ramirez's power well overall. If Orozco gets past 5 rounds, which I think he will, Ortiz will be in unfamiliar territory, his stamina will be tested, and definitely, the inexperience will be a factor because Ortiz hasn't been there, and if Orozco has a lot left in the tank, Ortiz will be tested in a lot of aspects.

I think Ortiz has the potential to be better than Ramirez, but he is not as good as Ramirez yet, so I think Orozco will do better in this fight than he did against Ramirez, if Ortiz beats Orozco at this stage of his career, whether it is a dominant performance or not, he deserves credit, and that is a good win.

I think Ortiz will win this by UD, maybe 115-113 on all the cards, I think he will have the better start, might hurt Orozco early, but as the rounds on, Orozco's experience will be more of a factor.

I think Ortiz will learn and improve from this fight, and Orozco will get more opportunities in the future if he makes it competitive, does as well as I think he will.

Great performance from Ortiz! Ortiz has a lot to learn, he made mistakes in this fight, but that was inevitable, he's a gifted fighter, has the potential to be a great fighter in my opinion. For a 21 year old fighter with 12-13 fights, Ortiz did brilliant to stop guys Danny Garcia and Jose Ramirez couldn't stop, and stop them inside 6 rounds, he has devastating power, and also timing, accuracy, good overall skills, and this was a good learning fight for him, didn't get the rounds he needed, but for 5 rounds, that was a competitive, close fight.
