Wrong decision announced

I just rewatched and rescored Azumah Nelson vs Jesse James Leija I and Nelson was announced the winner by SD with a 116-115 card being the deciding vote. The card actually was 115-115 SD Draw

Anyonther fights you can think of where the verdict in the ring was incorrect and had to be changed later?

Re: Wrong decision announced

One notable example is Winky Wright getting robbed versus Harry Simon in South Africa. It was announced as a majority draw. Then they "recalculated" the scorecards and it was announced that Simon had won by majority decision. There is also one that escapes my brain where the "winner" went and gave the belt back to the "loser" in the dressing room after they recalculated the scorecards but I can't remember who it involved. I think it was a lower weight fight? For some reason I thought it involved Mark Johnson but I couldn't find anything about it.

Re: Wrong decision announced

These didn't affect who went home with the title, but both had incorrectly read decisions:

Marco Antonio Barrera vs. Rocky Juarez I, read as a split draw and then later changed to a split decision win for Barrera.

Ike Quartey vs. Jose Luis Lopez, read as a majority decision for Quartey and then later changed to a majority draw.

Re: Wrong decision announced

I was close! It was Stevie Johnston who was declared the winner by majority decision over Jose Luis Castillo. Castillo found out the scorecards were recalculated and he retained his title by a majority draw when Johnston gave him the belt back in the dressing room.

Re: Wrong decision announced

Probably Mark Johnson vs Rafa Marquez I. Good call I had forgotten that one. I know there are plenty more

Re: Wrong decision announced

I think of the wrong numbers, but not a lot of times when it affected the outcome.

Although I believe there was an error with Cuadras and Estrada

Re: Wrong decision announced

Korobov Aleem was inccorrectly announced. Terrible cards too. Impossible to score 5 to 5.
