Prediction,

Great match up, battle of the unbeatens, both 13-0, both good prospects.

This is a very interesting fight, because Dadashev is likely the technically better fighter, wasn't a great amateur, but he had more of an amateur career than Matias, and he has definitely been in against the better opposition, but he has been down, Dadashev, and Matias has 100% KOs.

In terms of pedigree, experience, and being ready for a world title shot, I don't think either are ready, both still learning, but I think Dadashev is ahead of Matias, having been 10 rounds, beat Darleys Perez and Antonio DeMarco, and Matias hasn't been past 6, I don't think he has beat opponents on that level, he beat David Fernando Saucedo last year, who wasn't bad in his prime, but he was absolutely shot to bits, so you can't give Matias too much credit for stopping him early, he did beat Breidis Prescott, but Prescott had 13 losses, was 35, had a lot of miles, so it is another case of him fighting a shot opponent.

Matias has no amateur highlights recorded on BoxRec whatsoever, 13 fights is not many, and he likely hasn't fought any top 20 opponents in their division, so he is very inexperienced, and I question his technical ability, because although he has a lot of early finishes, he isn't the most dominant fighter in every aspect, he wasn't ahead against Estrella after 4 rounds, lost the first round in his second fight, against an opponent who is now 2-2, so it will be interesting to see if he is a half-decent boxer as well as a puncher.

I think Dadashev will win this by UD, I think he will keep the fight at distance, use his skills, Matias will struggle to find the chin, he will hurt Dadashev when he does land clean, he might even drop him, but he won't be able to stop Dadashev.

I think Dadashev wins a UD, maybe 115-112/116-111, the extra experience, having had a couple of good learning fights that Matias hasn't had, might be the main difference.

Dadshev is has had brain surgery, they had to reduce swelling on the brain, he had part of his skull removed, his career is over, but hopefully he makes a full recovery, you never know how fighters can recover from a brain injury, but successful surgery is a good sign. Thoughts and prayers for Dadahsev and his family.

Yeah, the way he looked being taken out of the ring was very scary. Hope the kid pulls through. He was getting tagged, but never thought it would have led to that. Matias may end up the boogeyman in that division now.

Damn...this makes me sad. He never should have went toe to toe with Matias. Just saw the fight, luckily McGirt stopped it before it got any worse

Yeah, the fact he was able to make it through 11, seeing what happened when he left the ring, is crazy. He was absorbing punishment, but man, didn't see that coming in terms of his ring exit, and what happened in the ambulance/hospital. Doubt we ever see him in the ring again, but I just hope the kid gets healthy and recovers fully. Scary shit.

This is the most tragic fight I've ever seen. Rest in Peace Dadashev. You fought a good brave fight.

RIP champ. Was praying for him nonstop. Tragic. He will be missed.

RIP Maxim Dadashev

Rest In Peace
