Prediction,

Navarrete is coming back very soon after his last fight, it was a mismatch, but 4 weeks is nothing between world title fights.

Elorde is experienced, has a good record, 28-1, same record as Navarrete, hasn't lost since 2011, but he is old, and I don't think he is world level. Elorde's first 16 wins were against opponents without winning records, his only fight in his first 17 that wasn't against an opponent with a losing record or an even record was the fight he lost, Elorde'a opposition has been a lot better in his last 12 fights, 9 of his last 12 opponents have had winning records, but he's never beaten a world title challenger, his best win is probably his last, Shohei Kawashima, who he beat even better than two weight world champion, Cristian Mijares, but Mijares was 35 when he beat Kawashima, well past his best.

I think this is about levels, I think Elorde will last longer than De Vaca, get to the mid rounds, but won't make it to the late rounds, won't give Navarrete problems, might make it fairly competitive at times, have a good go, but he won't win any clear rounds, might make a couple of rounds close and probably not even that, and I think Navarrete stops him in 7.

This should be another walk over squash match for Navarrete. Would love to see Navarrete in with Rigo or Figueroa.

Again, this should be easy EASY work for Emanuel Navarrete. Not expecting much out of this one but he is always a pleasure to watch.

I'd like to see Navarrete fight any of the following now: Daniel Roman, Guillermo Rigondeaux, Brandon Figueroa, or if he goes up in weight then: Gary Russell Jr., Leo Santa Cruz or Shakur Stevenson.

I still think my boy Danny Roman whips Navarrete.
