Farooq was pressing and landing meaningful body shots that visibly had McGregor shook all fight. Lee clinched and wrestled more than he actually threw punches. Another decision that rewards the worst parts of boxing and again neglects to appreciate body-work.

Was this actually a robbery or is there some possibility McGregor could have won legitimately? Didn't get to catch it but saw the fallout from the decision

Farooq did the far more meaningful work for the vast majority of the fight. Felt to me like he had total control of the fight between 2-6 and 8-9ish and was out-landing + landing the more meaningful blows.

McGregor looked a few body shots away from being stopped before he began clinching and wrestling (losing a point in one round for it) to make for very ugly, low activity rounds. I guess it paid off for him in the eyes of the judges.

Talking to StaticEruption.

I think this is well off the mark, could have gone either way, and the SD backs that up.

Talking to Gold.

Very close fight is what it was.

I missed first 3 rounds watching the card from Germany, but from what I saw, very close, and worth watching

Gold, young, top amateur debuting tonight as well on the GB Facebook card, on the undercard of Cano and Ortiz. You heard of Hasanboy Dusmatov before?

Dustamov looked like he could be a really damn good pro from how he looked in the 2016 Olympics. But I think he made a mistake in not going pro right away. Instead he had some disappointing times as an amateur and now he won’t have as much time to transition to the pro ranks. Wish him luck though, he’s super talented. Hope he can realize that potential. Very aggressive as an amateur, seems like the kind of amateur who could one day be a good pro.

Oh really? Did I miss the Dusmatov fight? I saw he was originally on the Matchroom Monaco card but that got canceled. I was excited to see him

He's the next fight on the card I believe. The main card is supposed to start at 830 central, so very soon. He's the opening of the main card. ONly airing on Facebook though as far as I know.

It is supposed to be after this four round women's fight? Also, it is a shame what they've done with Cano. Unless he had an injury or wanted the time off there is no reason for a ten-month layoff after sparking Linares. Killed the hype of his big win

Actually, may be one more away. I’m pretty sure all of the 4 and 6 round men’s fights have happened, so the 2 woman’s first, maybe one other, but I don’t think so. Dusmatov is supposed to be the opener on the main card I believe, and they said it started at 830CST.

Cool, thanks for the info. Would have missed it otherwise

No problem man. This was the only Boxing card on, so was planning on watching. May check the Lobov-Knight BKFC card as well.

I enjoyed the first 8 rounds or so. The second half was hideous though, just nonstop clinching and holding/arm punching.
