Titles at Stake:
Undefeated WBC, WBA and IBF Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson attempts to claim full recognition as the best in the world when he takes on undefeated linear Heavyweight Champion Michael Spinks in a bout that is years in the making. After all the anticipation, Tyson unloads on Spinks from the opening bell. An uppercut followed by a body shot sends Spinks to a knee for the first knockdown of his career. Although Spinks beats the count, Tyson drops him flat on his back with a right hand. Spinks tries to get up but topples between the ropes as Referee Frank Cappuccino counts him out, ending the fight and all debate about the championship.
