Hey buddy, how are ya? Been missing a lot of the fights this month, works been crazy and been playing catch-up on hanging out with my gal on weekend evenings, so need to play catch-up soon.

Hearing we may get 2 HW prospect fights. Hrgovic vs Bakoli and Dubois vs Joyce? Who do you like in those? I’m leaning Hrgovic and Dubois, but worried a bit about Hrgovic with his talk of wanting to go back to the amateurs for another Olympic run. Either they don’t think he’ll get a big fight soon, or are worried about his development.

Yesterday, I went to church for the first time in 3 years, which is great progress. Good to hear, I'm hoping to have a gal of my own before too long.

I hadn't heard about Hrgoviv vs Bakole, I'd need to think about that, but I think Dubois beats Joyce, Dubois is the most impressive heavyweight prospect in my opinion, Joyce the least, I wasn't impressed by Joyce against Jennings, I saw more weaknesses then strengths, I think he would give Dubois his toughest fight so far, but that isn't saying much, and I think when Joyce's work rate dips, when he can't apply the same pressure as early in the fight, Dubois will take over. What do you think?

I'm against any professional competing in the Olympics, so I hope that doesn't happen.

I think Dubois is too skilled. Joyce is big, strong, decent output, but is so slow and plodding, and can be outboxed, as demonstrated by Jennings. I think Dubois would be able to move, pick him off when he loads up his combos, and hurt him to the head and body. Don’t know if he’d KO him, just because I don’t know the level of his chin, but wouldn’t be shocked if it was Dubois by mid to late KO.

I agree, he does the fundamentals a lot better, his defensively better, much better footwork, and I think he is the much better all round boxer. Dubois doesn't have all his power at 22, Joyce seems to have a solid chin, I think he will hold up, the first time Dubois lands clean, but if Dubois can attack the body, and produce a high output himself, I think he stops Joyce. It will be interesting to see how Dubois deals with Joyce's size, output, and awkwardness.

I'm seeing a new therapist tomorrow, not benefited from any professional help so far, but I'm hopeful it will be different this time.
