Have you seen a bad card for Canelo since 2017? I haven't.
I thought the Danny Jacobs fight was the best I've ever seen Canelo box and my card was a lot wider than judges', if that's what you mean. I am in the 'GGG is winning 2-0' camp but neither fight was a robbery.
Exactly, 4-5 rounds for Jacobs is fair, so why are so many people still espousing the narrative that winning a decision against Canelo is impossible?, there was bad card after bad card from the Trout fight to the first Golovkin, more or less in every fight he had, but since then, there have been none.
I think I gave him 3 rounds. I agree; no robberies for years. but Amir Khan cards are well remembered, Adelaide Byrd in the first GGG fight was one of history's worst cards and I think he was ahead against Kovalev as well (most likely of the 3 but debatable at best)
Switching to Tanaka beats Ioka by UD
Hope you had a good Christmas man.
I did and likewise, I hope you did as well. Hopefully, you are able to get Garcia vs. Campbell in the UK. I heard they put it on a good time for you guys. Should be a great fight as with Ioka vs. Tanaka
My Christmas wasn't bad thanks.
I think the fight is on DAZN, the app is as very cheap, it's good for UK boxing fans. I'm looking forward to the fight, I said Campbell before, but I'm leaning towards Garcia now. It seems that in the US, Garcia is supposed to win given Campbell lost both title fights he had, and given the following that Garcia has, but Campbell's career is on the line, he needs the win more. Just as I was about to cancel my boxnation subscription, I saw they've caught Ioka vs Tanaka, so I hope the channel can redeem itself. Did anything in particular change your mind on Ioka vs Tanaka? I'm not surprised, I changed my mind myself, I thought Tanaka before the fight was confirmed, but I'm leaning towards Ioka.
I think people are giving Campbell a fair shot if he can get through the early rounds, but it will always be tough going on the road regardless of where it is. Garcia's speed and power should give him a big advantage early on but obviously, there isn't a comparison between the experience they have both pro and amateur so he will have to exploit that. I agree Campbell needs the win more so hopefully he will put in a career-best performance. I thought about Ioka vs. Tanaka a bit, I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Ioka won but I think the timing may favor Tanaka which could make a small difference that could separate them. I've also heard stuff about Ioka not living the life but apparently that's been true his whole career.

Feel like a total casual, haven't heard of a single fighter on that Salita Showtime/ShoBox card.
I haven't heard of many, but there are so few fights in January, they were thr best I could find.
No worries, do you have an idea of who you'll pick between Kovalev and Bek?
I'm doing the fights in chronological order, so I don't have a final prediction yet, but I think Bek, more factors favour him it seems. The Fulton vs Leo under card looks solid, and February looks like a great month.
Agreed, I hope the Joe Smith can pull through versus Vlasov in February. I think Joe Smith has a decent chance versus Beterbiev.
