How close to his prime was Canelo when Mayweather beat him. He was 23 with over 40 fights. But was he prime or near prime?
Also, what was your impression of the fight? I actually believe Floyd won every round but the last. How did you score it?

Nowhere near his prime, he's been improving since, he was already a very good fighter, Mayweather was 36, and Mayweather took him apart mentally, but Canelo is on Mayweather's level in my opinion based on what he's achieved over the last few years.
I gave Canelo a couple of close late rounds on work rate, couod have got the 6th, it's worth noting Mayweather had an issue with his elbow at that point in the fight, the first 2 rounds were very narrow, I think Mayweather took time to adapt to Canelo's youth and size, but they were still clear Mayweather rouuds. I think Canelo winning more than 3 rounds is off the mark.
Canelo is much better than he was. That being said, I think prime mayweather still gives Canelo a lot of fproblems.
