People are saying crawford is the only person who can compete with spence and you know spence will wipe out danny garcia and Kell Brook (rematch) and thurman but no only this guy crawford can compete its a bit strong really his career best win is either shot amir khan or ray beltran or some stuff.
His best wins are Postol, Gamboa, and remember Indongo knocked out Troyanovsky in 1 round, shut Burns out.
It's a great resume but if he is supposed to be some kind of P4P fighter then I am not impressed at all.
Crawford, Lomachenko, Golovkin, don't have great resumes, but good enough that how dominant they've been gives them a great case for being top fighters, not Gokovkin now because he's been on the decline for a few years, but when he was at his best, same as Crawford and Lomachenko. You are impressed by Crawford in the ring aren't you? If not, explain why, because in terms of eye test, I don't see any way you can criticise, even if he doesn't have a great resume like Canelo, Spence, Pacquiao, Usyk, which is a fair point, because they have a resume on a different level to Crawford and Lomachenko, has to be said.
Yes, I am very impressed by Crawford in the ring.
I hope he fights Ugas next. If he beats Ugas or some like thatt I'll class him as n1 welter because his skillset is clearly far better than spence.
But I just cant until he does cos spence has beaten porter and brook etc.
Ok, but remember as well, the better names doesn't always mean the better resume, I'm not saying Spence's resume isn't better than Crawford's, because it is, but Crawford is a 3 weight world champion who was undisputed at 140.
Talking about someone being "overhyped" because their resume is underwhelming when they clearly have top pound for pound talent is ridiculous. Plenty of fighters have gone in with bad or underwhelming resumes and beat fighters with better resumes.
Crawford beats Spence easy. Might even stop him.
I think Spence looked very beatable last night tbh. Crawford would pick him apart.
I agree , great post
I think this is a common mistake, people getting too carried away and changing their opinion too much based on one fight, Spence has already proven he is a great fighter, and he got the win last night, I changed my opinion on what the outcome of Spence vs Crawford would be, granted, but to go from thinking it was a 50/50 fight, to thinking Crawford beats Spence easily or to think Spence is not on his level, is putting too much stock in one fight, it would be a different story if it had been Khan who had just done what Porter did against Spence, or if Porter had won, but Crawford has never fought an opponent as good as Porter, in all liklihood, so you can't say Crawford beats Spence easily based off Spence struggling against Porter.
