Worst scorecard

What's the worst scorecard you've ever seen on this site? You don't have to call out any names but just think of the worst scorecard you've seen on here. I think I saw someone score Daniel Jacobs vs. GGG 9-3 Jacobs but I can't find it looking back. What do ya'll think?

Re: Worst scorecard

I saw someone score Donaire Vs Rigondeaux for Donaire. I don't remember by how much.

Re: Worst scorecard

Apologies if I've already asked and you would rather not, but would you like to be part of Prediction Champion of the Month? Offer goes for TheAlterPlace as well, Gold is already a competitor.

Re: Worst scorecard

Sure! How does it work

Re: Worst scorecard

Awesome man!

Here is the vault

Here is the scoreboard
http://www.eyeonthering.com/forum/pcom-scoreboard

Just post your predictions on the fight vault forum page, specify stoppage/decision, and also early (1-4), mid (5-8), late (9-12), and UD, MD or SD.

The right outcome but stoppage/decision wrong gets you 2 points, if you get stoppage right you get 3-5 points (depending on early/mid/late), if you pick a UD, and it is an SD, that's 4 points, if you say UD, get it right, that's 5 points, if you get an SD wrong that's 4 points, but if you get it right, because UDs are more common than SDs, you get 6 points. If you predict a draw and get it right, 7 points.

Re: Worst scorecard

Those type of things are hard to tell, because it can be hard to decipher whether people actually scored a fight horribly or are just submitting these cards as a troll.

Re: Worst scorecard

The worst non-troll scorecard I've seen is a guy scoring Ward vs. Froch to Froch 116-114 then changing it to 114-114. Ones like Rigo vs. Donaire to Donaire I assume are troll cards

Re: Worst scorecard

I've never seen donaire rigo so maybe I gotta check it out. lol

Re: Worst scorecard

It's probably the only moderately fan friendly fight of Rigo's, I would recommend watching it. It is a good fight and shows how good Rigondeaux was when he was younger at his natural weight, Donaire gives a spirited effort but Rigondeaux was just a level above and won clearly. The official scorecards were too close in my opinion.

Re: Worst scorecard

Yeah, I will soon. I have a lot of fights I have to watch, any fight to see prime roberto duran against a strong opponent? my friend says he the greatest ever and I've only seen him vs hearns and leonard twice...

Re: Worst scorecard

For prime Duran:

Duran vs. De Jesus III is a great performance by prime Lightweight Duran. De Jesus is a pretty underrated fighter overall, he was Duran's only loss until the Leonard rematch and brought the WBC Lightweight title to their third match to crown an undisputed Lightweight champion. De Jesus was giving him a good fight but Duran wore him down and stopped him in the twelfth.

Duran vs. Palomino was a good step up for Duran at Welterweight before fighting Leonard. Palomino was a tough ex-champion and Duran consistently pushed Palomino onto the ropes and beat Palomino up, he was just too skilled and too tough even for the naturally bigger Palomino.

These next two aren't in his prime, but they are some of his greatest performances:

Duran vs. Moore was a crossroads fight and a great comprehensive performance by Duran. Duran was more or less considered a finished fighter after losing to Leonard, Benitez, and being shocked by an unknown Laing. I think he was a 2 1/2 to 1 underdog in this fight. Moore was unbeaten as the WBA Super Welterweight champion, and Duran outskilled Moore both at range and in the pocket. Duran ruined Moore in this fight, there is no way it would have continued past the seventh if the fight happened today because Moore was taking a senseless beating.

Duran vs. Barkley is one of the greatest fights of all time in my opinion and one of the greatest performances of all time put forth by Duran. Again, Duran was considered a finished fighter at 37, and again he was a 2 1/2 to 1 underdog. Since beating Moore, Duran had lost to Hagler, Hearns, and Hagler's half-brother Robbie Sims and hadn't beaten anyone of note since. Really there is no reason a 37 year old former Lightweight champion with 91 fights should beat a prime strong physical Middleweight champion like Iran Barkley, but Duran did it anyways. He outthought, outboxed, and outwilled the much larger WBC champion Barkley, floored him in the 11th and won a deserved split decision.

Overall, Duran is a tough fighter to rate. He had a very mercurial career and personality. Some fights he seemed to show up as one of the best fighters of all time (vs. De Jesus III, vs. Leonard I, vs. Moore, vs. Barkley) and in other fights, he'd lose to nobodies (Laing, Sims). Personally, I have him in my top 5 all time. He has a great combination of resume and skills, I don't think I would pick any Lightweight in history against him.

Re: Worst scorecard

Thanks bro!!!! I'll get to watching!

Re: Worst scorecard

One dude on here scored Canelo-GGG 2 for Canelo 11-1

Re: Worst scorecard

Wow, I had that 8-4 or 7-5 for G but that card is just horrible.

Re: Worst scorecard

What are the chances ? Did you delete twitter or keep getting banned ?

Re: Worst scorecard

I got banned, made a new account, got suspended for like a day then deleted it. Too much drama on there.
