What a fight this was, I thought Adames would win easily.

I thought it would be competitive, as I've watched a bit of Teixeira, but definitely thought Adames would win. I had him nicking it, but not mad at a score in either direction by a round or 2. Teixeira is likely to face Castano next. How do you see that one going? I think Castano should be able to get the victory, but it should be a very entertaining fight.

Sorry to jump in, but where did you hear about Teixeira vs. Castano? Is Castano in line to be the mandatory to Teixeira after he is upgraded to the full titlist? That would be a good fight but I'm surprised PBC would target that given it is with the WBO.

I'll love to see how PBC shills defend this, fine with having their fighter challenge for the WBO title when it is Castano but ignore it completely when Crawford has it because they don't want to make the fight. Terrible for boxing.

Indeed, and wonder if they'll recognize Andy's WBO should he win the rematch. Sick to recognize Franchise champs from WBC, and WBA regular and gold belts, yet scoff at the WBO. Definitely a way to ice out Crawford, as he likely beats all of their champs and contenders at the weight. I'd love for him to get that Besputin match and the regular belt, to maybe help force PBC's hand a bit.

It doesn't seem very likely but I believe Kenny Porter has talked about possibly trying to make Crawford vs. Shawn Porter, if Crawford were to beat Porter easier than Spence that would definitely accelerate the public demand for Crawford vs. Spence. I saw somewhere that Besputin vs. Ugas may be on deck for the WBA Regular, that would be a really good fight but I could also see Besputin vacating and setting up the Crawford fight down the line.

I'd only seen Teixeira against Stevens, which explains why I underestimated him. I agree Castano should win, too good an inside fighter, more consistent pressure fighter than Adames, but based on this fight, Teixeira would make that a competitive fight.
