Round 1- They are exchanging their southpaw jabs, and Prawet’s seems to be getting to the target more. Pacquiao is mixing it up with his offense more, but Prawet is able to catch a majority of his blows on his arms.

Round 2- As his volume increases, Pacquiao is able to find more success. Prawet’s body language looks poor after taking a right hook to the body while on the ropes, and merely runs to the other side. Pacquiao is able to catch Prawet with the check hook several times, dominate the exchanges, and even outjab him in this round. Prawet is still catching some shots, but just isn’t doing enough.

Round 3- Pacquiao kicks the round off with an effective combination to the body, but Prawet is able to get back into rhythm after. He is able to effectively outjab Pacquiao while occasionally land the straight left both up and downstairs. Prawet is also catching a good amount of Pacquiao’s shots on his arms.

Round 4- A low blow makes Pacquiao turn his back and crouch in the corner. It is kind of funny, and the ref correctly takes a point from Prawet. After recovering, Pacquiao starts to walk Prawet down some more and throw combinations. Prawet is trading with Pacquiao, but Pacquiao is able to land the cleaner shofs, particularly with the counter left hand. Prawet loses another point at the bell for more low blows, making it a huge round for PacMan.

Round 5- For once, Prawet is able to back Pacquiao into the ropes. After getting tagged with a combination, Pacquiao taunts Prawet. Another low blow makes Pacquiao turn his back, and the ref takes a third point from Prawet. The ref also threatens disqualification. From there, Prawet is able to outland Pacquiao thoroughly, as he is able to pierce his guard with right hooks and straight lefts on numerous occasions. Despite the point deduction, this was probably Prawet’s best round.

Round 6- After getting outboxed for most of the fight, Pacquiao starts to land 3-punch combinations with ease, while relentlessly coming forward. Pacquiao drives Prawet to the ropes again with his offense and starts to tee off. A final right uppercut drops Prawet on all fours. Prawet almost rises at 8, but falls back to his knees. Following this win, Pacquiao would get his breakthrough in America.
