Mikhalkin can't punch, and on top of that he isn't very fast either. He does have a decent chin and heart. With a very decisive speed and power advantage, Kovalev made this a lot more difficult than it had to be. He got hit by some really good shots that just happened to have a feather fist behind them, and once again he seemed to be tiring after about 3 rounds. I never thought Kovalev was a pound for pound fighter, and this fight is more evidence of that. In the end, I think I'd favor Bivol and Beterbiev if he fought them. Probably Jack and Gvozdyk as well. He has a lot of physical tools, but he seems mentally unstable and never seems to be well conditioned.
