Rds 2,3,5,8,9,11 competitive
beautiful job by ref Thomas Taylor in laying down the law and calling it slip first time in Rd 10 when Magsayo was already on the way down before Figureoa punch landed and the second time in Rd 10 when Magsayo damn near sat down on his volition....ducking and hurting to the body good call by Taylor sandwiched in between those 2 moments was Magsayo hurt from body shots hunched over even grabbing Figueroa legs only staying up supporting his body on Figueroas and Figueroa couldn't free his arms or make room to score a clean KD despite trying to creative w his body contortions for leverage if memory serves
Rd 11 Magsayo shades of Ali vs Young having his torso through the ropes for the second time in the Rd before Figueroa even threw his punch..NO KD GOOD CALL REF Taylor and Rd 12 Magsayo slips to the mat again
Unlike in his fight vs Fulton wasn't excessive holding and hitting on Figueroas part which hurt him when it came to his portion of landed punches, here Magsayo was not slick enough defensively on the inside or able to repeatedly take advantage finding leverage for body lunches the way Fulton did when Figueroa was hurting himself in the scoring department trying to hold and hit...Magsayo holding on to an arm and bending over only restricted him in this regard in portions in individual competitive when it mattered most
