Prediction.

Both have lost to good fighters, and learned, Ramirez hasn't been as well beaten as Avelar against Fulton, but I think Fulton is the best opponent between them. Both are southpaw, 2 of Ramirez's last 3 opponents have been southpaws, he has averaged more southpaw opponents than most fighters in the last few years, so the stance aspect favours him. Ramirez's recent form has been better than Avelar's in their last 3 fights, he's more experienced even considering Avelar fought Fulton. I think Ramirez's best shot is his right hook, Avelar's is his left hand, Avelar is defensively good, Fulton had to wait for an opening for the right hand, he moves his head, makes adjustments with his feet, and he fights with the left hand up, but Ramirez can fight on the inside, uses his foot speed to close the gap and pull out when the opponent throws, he has good variety, can land at angles, when the opponent makes themself a small target.

I think Avelar will be a tough target in the early rounds, will be a step ahead with the feet, will land the left hand lead, and Ramirez will mostly miss with 2 punch combinations, but as the fight goes on, Ramirez will do a better job of dealing with Avelar's footwork, will land more shots he throws more combinations and flurries, will make it more of an inside fight, have success when Avelar is on the ropes, and he will do enough to swing the fight in his favour.

I think Ramirez wins a UD, I'd be surprised if Avelar won, I wouldn't be surprised if Ramirez got a late stoppage.
