Re: Floyd Patterson vs. Ingemar Johansson II
Once Patterson found the defense with the Peak-A-Boo he was able to let his hands go.

Re: Floyd Patterson vs. Ingemar Johansson II
This championship rematch was Arthur Mercante Sr. first ever championship contest he referred for, I found that very interesting from watching the opening ceremonies for this battle. From the onset of the first bell the former champion comes out with a measured pace, yet you could see the determination in his approach. It wasn't long before Patterson was catching the champion with blistering shots and opening up his attack, causing a mouse to start forming very early as well as a small cut. It is clear Floyd Patterson is looking to become the first man to regain the Heavyweight Championship of the World, and looking to do so early. To start the second frame Patterson looks to continue what he did in the first session, but is caught with a perfect right hand from a perfect angle, and Patterson is noticeably stunned, Johansson has Floyd backing up, and almost lands another on the button but he doesn't catch all of it like the first shot. By the end of the frame Patterson has regained his bearings, and is on the hunt again, but the session goes to the champion. The third frame was more of a strategic affair for most of the session, both men fought mostly a even round with almost exclusively the jab with maybe Johansson getting slightly the better of it, until Patterson lands well with a lunging combination that stuns the champion. Floyd lands a smashing hook to the mid-section that clearly got the champions attention, and was enough to win him the frame in what turned into a exciting round over the last minute. The fourth frame is a dog fight, with Patterson getting the better of it. The fifth starts the same as the others until Patterson catches the champion with a leaping left hook the sends Johansson down almost for the count. He makes it back to his feet barely beating the count, and a relentless Patterson swarms all over the champion with crashing punches to the head and body. A clearly wobbled Johansson tries to stay on his feet but he is hurt bad, and another leaping left hook puts the champion flat on his back again, his reign over the division looks to be in severe jeopardy now as Johansson is not moving. A out cold Johansson is counted out, and Floyd Patterson has regained the Heavyweight Championship of the World!
