Prediction.

Ramirez is the stronger fighter, and he hits harder at 140, but Pedraza has more speed in hand and foot. Pedraza might have a mental edge, he's coming off a good win, and is on a winning streak, he's come of age, and peaked late. Ramirez has a better chin, and has better stamina, he's a great combination puncher, but Pedraza is an even better combination puncher. I think Pedraza is the better defensive fighter, the battle of the jabs is interesting, but I think Pedraza's jab is slightly better. Ramirez is a better inside fighter than Pedraza, but Pedraza's judgement of distance is better, cutting off the ring will be very important for Ramirez, because it will be hard for him to cut distance in centre ring, and making in an inside fight is important for him to implement his tactics.

I think Pedraza will look to establish his jab in centre ring in the first round, will concede the back foot, will use lateral movement, will mix up his jab with feints, and start to throw combinations, will offset Ramirez with his speed, which will ease his pressure. I think Ramirez will start to cut off the ring in the early to mid rounds, Pedraza will be uncomfortable, Ramirez will be busy with his jab, will step in with body shots, Pedraza will struggle to time the left hand at long range as Ramirez moves his head, and Ramirez will be in range for most of the mid rounds. I think whenever Pedraza's movement stops, and Ramirez let's his hands go, he will do damage, Pedraza will be on the defensive going into the late rounds, Ramirez will have slowed him down with body shots. I think Ramirez will walk Pedraza down in the late rounds, Pedraza will fight in the pocket, but there will be no comparison for power, and when his movement slows down enough for Ramirez to unleash a sustained attack, he will stop Pedraza.

The only outcome which would surprise me would be Pedraza stopping Ramirez, I think he has a good shot in this fight, there is an argument his form is better than Ramirez's, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he went the distance, I'd be surprised if he didn't give Ramirez problems. My prediction is Ramirez by late stoppage.
