Prediction.

Pulev has fought at the higher level, has the better wins, Forrest hasn't had a 12 round fight, has a few losses, Pulev has only lost to unified champions, and Forrest hasn't won a fight in 3 years, but Forrest has a big age advantage, Pulev hasn't fought a southpaw in 8 years, and Forrest has been more active. Forrest's fitness is phenomenal, he can fight at a very high tempo for 10 rounds, he has speed in hand and foot, he throws combinations, is busy with his feet, isn't easy to counter, he isn't technically great, but he's experienced, and has improved a lot. Forrest doesn't have any weapons which are as hard to deal with as Pulev's jab, and if Pulev can slow the tempo down, and use his jab to stop Forrest implementing his tactics, he can win comfortably, but if Forrest can get off first, let his hands go before Pulev has established his jab, and is mobile, he can win comfortably. I think southpaws are a challenge for Pulev, he won wide against Thompson, showed adaptability, but it was a bad start, and that's because he's reliant on his jab, he struggles to find the distance on the right hand when it doesn't come off the jab, and Forrest being short is another reason Pulev will struggle for accuracy.

I think Forrest will get off first in the early rounds, will use lateral movement, and Pulev will struggle to get his jab off, Forrest will be ready for the right hand, and Pulev's lack of variety will cost him. I think Pulev will come on in the mid rounds, as he adapts to Forrest's speed and movement, he will use his feet to set up his jab, not consistently enough to keep Forrest at bay, but his defence will improve when Forrest is in range, I think Forrest will pick up his output down the stretch, will try to force the fight on the inside to avoid Pulev's jab, Pulev will tie up, but whenever there is a gap, Forrest will out work Pulev heavily.

My prediction is Forrst by UD, I wouldn't be surprised if Pulev won, I'd be surprised if this didn't go the distance.

Terrible performance from Forrest, the whole business with the gloves dispute might have affected his focus, but his conditioning and game plan were poor, especially his lack of adaptability to the right hand, Pulev's lack of power was the only reason Forrest wasn't stopped.
