In his last fight, former Heavyweight Champion Floyd Patterson fights Muhammad Ali for the second time. Much like their first bout almost a decade earlier, Ali spends long stretches feeling Patterson out and throwing few punches. Finally, Ali goes on the attack and opens a cut over Patterson's eye in the sixth round. With the eye swollen shut, the ringside doctor is called in to assess Patterson after round seven. Patterson attempts to walk out for the eighth anyway, but Referee Arthur Mercante stops him, ending the fight and his great career.
