Good fight!
Tapia tried, landed some good counters, attacked on the inside quite well, but Perez was too strong, attacked the body well, had the heavier hands, was able to impose his strength on Tapia, out hustled him.

The referee did exactly the right thing in round 1, Tapia was angry for a good reason, bit the referee just told him he'd seen what Perez did, took action, docked a point, and whenever a fighter ever hits the back of the head of their opponent, that should be an automatic, mandatory point deduction.
