There are some 1st round KOs on here like Tyson vs. Spinks and Louis vs. B.Baer. In general I believe that every televised/filmed bout should at some point be posted.
I realize that I am a lone voice crying out in the wilderness here but I hope that we consider the following:
1.1st round KOs are already on the site(see Mike Tyson)
2. We add fights that have yet to ( and thus may never) take place.
3.When scoring a fight it asks if the fight is a candidate for FOTY, Upset OTY or KO of the year. Many 1st round KOs are candidates for at least 1 of those categories. Torres vs. Holt 2 is a candidate for all 3 in my opinion.
4.Some 1st round KOs are very important historically (Ali vs. Liston 2,Schmeling vs. Louis 2).
5.In my mind (and I am sure a lot of others) I believe it would be nice to have as many fights of certain important fighters (i.e. Tyson,Ali) represented as possible.
6. Not adding 1st round KOs seems to a disproportionate affect on the higher weight classes.
7. We have fights on here that NO ONE alive has seen and couldn’t possibly objectively judge (Johnson vs. Langford).
8. Finally there are many cards on here that are incomplete or have no score. At least if the fight is listed there is an opportunity for discussion. It seems very wrong not to include an important fight such as Benn vs. Barkley simply because it ended in the first round. Given the criteria of there being nothing to score since no round was completed is silly. Why score any knockout then as the result is meaningless in light of the KO. I believe that Benn vs. Barkley is just as worthy a place in the vault as Hearns vs. Barkley 1 or Benn vs. McClellan.
Hi, I'll give you some insight on why it is the way it is. Addressing your comments broadly, the site has had fights added in a sort of piecemeal way over the years which has led to some of the issues you mentioned. Also, the site owner/administrator is not available/has been busy for some time. Champion97 adds almost all of the fights at the moment which myself and others certainly appreciate. The KO1s that exist in my current opinion should not be on the site simply because the site is about scoring fights and that's not possible with KO1s. I can see an argument for there being historical KO1s (even notable ones such as Torres vs. Holt 2 as you mentioned) but you should email Zoe (the site owner) and see if you get a response on it.
That's kind of what I was trying to point out. Since Champ is main one adding, I'm trying to follow his lead for consistency purposes. I wish we had more control to make adjustments to fights that were added in the past by admins that are no loner around, which I had requested from Zoe, so we can fix things like removing fights that never happened, double adds, etc. If we ever get that permission, I have no issue going in and cleaning up some of the older cards and merging the info as necessary. I even offered to buy the site at one point so we have an active site runner, but never heard back in the last couple years about it.
Probably, I will try to contact her as well. I think if we can remove/edit fights that are already out there we could clean some of the obvious ones up easily (Wilder vs. Povetkin, Gonzalez vs. Mares II are ones that come to mind as fights that didn't happen).
For sure. I know we have those posts in the admin only forum ready to go, in terms of cleanups, but they've been sitting for a couple years now with no movement from Zoe, so if we can get those permissions, wouldn't be too hard to knock out a big chunk of junk cards/posts.

Just an FYI, if they ended in the first round, we don't add them, as there is nothing to score.
