R1- No feel out process is needed, as both are throwing combinations right away. Castaño is beating de Jesus to the punch and stalking him before hurting him late with a pair of chopping rights. Castaño pelts him with power shots before dropping him on all fours moments before the bell.

R2- Despite getting off to a strong start, Castaño’s momentum would get shifted right away, as he gets put down for the first time in his career by a clean right down the middle very quickly. Emmanuel de Jesus starts to apply pressure and pinpoint several more right hands on Castano, forcing him to eventually distance himself and move to recover. Castaño is able to turn it around very briefly at the end, but not without getting blasted with a 1-2 and a head-snapping left hook first. Even with the underdog earning himself a great round, Castaño would show his pedigree and dominate the rest of the fight.

R3- Castaño seems to have analyzed the timing and offense of de Jesus, as he is doing a good job of blocking a majority of his shots. The counter right is landing now for Castaño, and he is getting more in effortlessly during the exchanges. An overhand right buckles de Jesus late, allowing Castaño to land a follow up flurry before the bell.

R4- After getting hit by a couple of 1-2’s early, Castaño turns things around by finding a home for his left hook. A pair of overhand rights hurt de Jesus, with the second even causing him to sit on the ropes with no word from the referee. Castaño seems to try and bank on putting de Jesus away with the same shot, causing him to take some unecessary counters, but he still wins the round handily.

R5- This round is the one where Castaño is most reliant on his jab throughout the whole fight, but he still lands several combinations in the last half. The left hook is something de Jesus cannot stay out of the way of.

R6- Castaño gets backed into the ropes early, with de Jesus throwing a barrage of 1-2’s, but the overhand right of Castaño allows him to turn things around. He starts to pile up combinations of de Jesus, who bravely fights back with flurries when hurt. Eventually, the constant pressure and workrate of Castaño becomes too much, and an overhand right curls him up on the canvas, only to be stopped when he rises. Castaño faced adversity early, but did what he had to do to own the rest of the fight.
