R1- Castaño is stalking Omotoso and landing 1-2’s, staggering Omotoso with a right when he gets off-balance late.

R2- Castaño is now putting punches in bunches, hitting Omotoso at several angles and piercing his guard with ease. Despite flashing a jab and potshotting some right hands, the sheer volume of Castaño is overwhelming Omotoso.

R3- Still applying constant pressure, Castaño starts to do more work with his jab. He later hurts Omotoso with a right uppercut, then starts to unload a barrage of power punches on him. Omotoso shows grit and tries to trade with Castaño, but is getting outscored easily, and is clearly hurt at times from Castaño’s whirlwind of offense. Big round for Castaño.

R4- Some 1-2’s are landing for Omotoso, but Castaño seems to be having a hard time missing the shots placed in his combinations. A straight right rocks Omotoso at one point, and a chopping one (which Castaño has been having success with since round three) gets his attention later.

R5- With target practice continuing for Castaño, things get worse for Omotoso early as a random injury occurs on his left shoulder. Castaño takes advantage and pounces on his prey, pouring on heavy shots to his body and blasting his chin with overhand rights consistently. Omotoso tries to fight back at times, but is clearly in no condition to fight. In between rounds, the fight is stopped. That was the wise decision because I feel Omotoso was eventually gonna get knocked out, whether he was injured or not. I do feel bad for Omotoso honestly, and injury only meant it was gonna be easier for Castaño to score. Omotoso would retire after this pillar to post beating, but Castaño would get his hands on some real junior middleweight gold next.
