R3- The first two rounds are unfortunately not on film. It is safe to assume that Castaño won them. Castaño is looking to counter and keeping his stiff guard up, but Garcia is still having success withing several of his combinations. While Castaño was able to land some counters and win the battle of the jabs when he threw his, he was too passive. Seeing that Garcia won one round on 2/3 of the cards, I’m gonna assume this was it, as he won it on mine too.

R4- Not only is Castaño backing down Garcia with the jab, he is walking him into right hand counters at will. In the final minute, Castaño starts to pinpoint combinations to the head. Garcia looks faded at the bell. Good round for El Boxi.

R5- Some exchanging is going on, and Castaño is seemingly unable to miss the chin of Garcia with his counters. Garcia is feeling the effective of the left hooks to the body, but he proves to be a tough customer.

R6- Castaño is putting together three-punch combinations on Garcia consistently. An awkward two-way slip closes the round.

R7- While marching forward, Castaño is still keeping Garcia away with the jab. When Garcia does get off, he gets tagged repeatedly with counters.

R8- They both press on it for the final round, and Castañonis landing 2-3 for every one landed or missed by Garcia. The lead overhand right was key for him in the fight, especially in this round. Good performance by El Boxi, who was gradually improving at the time. Fun fact, Brian’s brother, Alan would also beat Garcia by an eight-round UD right after this.
