R1- Vitu is feinting and jabbing, unable to pierce Castaño’s shell. Once Castaño starts throwing combinations, he is able to get hooks and rights through and around Vitu’s guard with regularity.

R2- Castaño keeps his jab snapping in the face of Vitu, and he starts to land the right through his guard effortlessly. The high guard of Castaño allows him to take barely anything in return, and he does make Vitu pay for missing. Once sequence occurs where Vitu gets in close for an exchange, just to land nothing and take three shots in response.

R3- Last round was a good one for Castaño, and this one is even better for him. He is applying heavy pressure from the start, pushing Vitu in the ropes as he pleases. The uppercut is consistently tagging the face of Vitu, and Castaño is constantly ripping hooks to the sides of his body and head.

R4- Vitu cannot get away from the lead right of Castaño or at least is not trying to, and he clearly has no answer for the pressure he’s under either.

R5- As almost all of the round takes place in the pocket, Castaño continues to have his way by connecting with the short overhand right over and over, but he is still doing consistent body work. An overhand right rocks and stuns Vitu against the ropes late, which debatably could have been a knockdown.

R6- The counter right hand of Castaño continues to dictate the fight. Castaño is also mixing in a variety of angles in his offense. Vitu gets in some shots late, but he is miserably outgunned.

R7- Castaño is doubling up on his shots, whether they are a jab or straight right. When he throws these two shots back to back, he has a hard time missing.

R8- Castaño coasts with his jab for a good amount of time, but he unleashes a two-fisted assault that lands with great accuracy late. Vitu tries to slip several of these shots, but Castaño is still closing the gap. Before the bell, Vitu shows some successful head movement, but does nothing overall to make the round close.

R9- Now Castaño is letting Vitu get off first, but he remains unscathed, while catching and shooting with success. Any time Castaño lands, he is able to back Vitu into the ropes.

R10- A flurry traps Vitu on the ropes for the umpteenth time. Castaño buzzes him with an overhand right, getting several more in and some left hooks to go with it after. Vitu shows some very poor defense and no offense in return, but he remains on his feet. Great round for Castaño.

R11- Castaño appears to step off the gas a bit, but he lands plenty of body shots in comparison to about nothing from Vitu. Despite this slight regression from Castaño, he would only pick things up in the next round.

R12- After being dominated in a short inside battle, Vitu tries to shake off a clean left hook. Castaño lands more in response, along with some rights. A left hook to the body causes Vitu to back into a parrallel side of the ring. Following up, a pair of hooks from each hand cause Vitu to sink to the canvas. Vitu is out of it, and should not have been allowed to continue. A blistering flurry causes Vitu to double over and walk head first into the corner, prompting the stoppage of this massacre. What a one-sided beatdown by Castaño, who showed offensive creativity, pelted Vitu at will, and took hardly anything in return.
