Round 1- Pacquiao looks rather big in comparison, and is active from the start. A combination ended by a right uppercut makes Pirang stumble into the ropes. Pacquiao starts to follow up with a series of power shots, but Pirang recovers fast. Pirang slips to the canvas twice, as Pacquiao peppers him with shots from different angles.

Round 2- Pacquiao comes out snapping the jab before dropping Pirang in the corner with a left cross. Pirang seems just fine after getting up, but Pacquiao hurts him again with a right hook later in the round. Though Pacquiao does score plentifully, Pirang manages to make it out.
Round 3- Pacquiao appears to coast this round, as he is staying busy with the jab and constantly keeping it in Pirang’s face. However, each left hand he lands seems to shake Pirang up a bit. Towards the end, a left hand over the top wobbles Pirang, who loses his balance again during Pacquaio’s follow up and ends up falling into the ropes. The looping left that “dropped” him appeared to miss, but it is still a 10-8 round for Pacquiao.
Round 4- Pacquiao is effectively snapping the 1-2 at Pirang until he drops him on all fours with a swift left uppercut. Not a lot of follow up time is needed, as he lands a sharp left “hookercut” type of punch that twists and flattens Pirang for the fourth and final knockdown, forcing the referee to waive the count immediately. Pure domination for Pacquiao, and a devastating finish. Next, another one of Pacquiao’s famous rivalries would be born.
