Round 1- Manny Pacquiao moves up to featherweight to take on Kazakhstan journeyman, Serikzhan Yeshmagambetov. Serik is probing with the jab and occasionally landing the right, but Pacquiao is catching a solid amount of blows on his gloves. Pacquiao is also landing heavy 1-2’s with ease, and a pair of them send Serik crashing down late. Pacquiao then starts to pepper him with chopping lefts and uppercuts, forcing Serik to hold on for dear life. Before the bell, Pacquiao is able to rock Serik one more time, in what is a great starting round for him.

Round 2- This round is not on film, but I am just going to assume that Pacquiao won it.

Round 3- Pacquiao is landing the overhand left with relative ease and more often than not it is pushing Serik back. Serik just seems unable to get into rhythm, as everything he throws is missing or having no effect. Pacquiao does land a right hook after the bell, which could have costed him a point. The left eye of Serik is swollen now.

Round 4- They start slugging it out until Pacquiao loses his mouthpiece. As they continue to trade, Pacquiao seems to be landing more, but Serik is landing the more eye-catching shots, particularly with the right uppercut. Despite not being a power-puncher, Serik drops and hurts Pacquiao with a well-timed counter right hand to the chin. Pacquiao gets on his bike after taking the count, but Serik is able to score with some rights to the head and body. Pacquiao closes out the round with a combination to the head, but this was overall a very good bounceback round for Serik.

Round 5- After going down in the last round, Pacquiao comes back strong. Pacquiao is staying aggressive and looking for the overhand left. Suddenly, he gets in a massive overhand left that staggers Serik across the ring and drops him on the seat of his pants. Serik looks unsteady as he rises. Pacquiao is on top of him right away, and a final combination sends an already wobbling Serik all the way into a corner and onto the canvas. The referee steps in and saves him from punishment. Fun fight.
