This was the worst Loma we've seen in a while. I think the surgery affected him, and this is why we don't see guys come right back from that to fight guys like Mikey or Pac as some wanted him to. At the same time, people acting like Pedraza was winning a lot of round early were judging by expectations. Pedraza's clean offense was few and far between...he barely landed. Loma had the only significant offense pretty much all fight, the only round Pedraza did anything other than volume was 10.

I'm sure people will shit on Loma because of this, and say he isn't as special as people think, and put him down the p4p. I think that is pretty unfair, although I may drop him from 1st to second. Still thinking on that one. But I don't think you can diminish and entire career from a guy over one lackluster performance, especially when he barely got touched and KDed the opponent twice for a near finish in a dominant decision.

I agree, he wasn't great in this fight, and yes, his right hand seemed somewhat absent in this fight. Sometimes though, volume is enough, when the other guy isn't throwing enough shots.

People are idiots, this is one fight, Lomachencko has already proven himself, we already know he is a great fighter. People have unrealistic expectations.

I believe the labrum injury is a major threat to the remainder of Lomachencko's career, I think it was a big factor in him losing rounds and failing to stop Pedraza, and as he is getting older, if the best surgery in the world hasn't fully healed or 90% healed the shoulder, is it going to heal?
